We would like to announce that the 3rd Award of Merit for 2021 was presented to Peter Pratt (Dunstable Town BC) at the County Friendly between Bowls Bedfordshire and the Essex Bowling Association on Thursday 2nd June at Elsenham Bowls Club.
It has taken us a while to arrange the surprise for Peter, but we finally succeeded and Peter was lost for words when the award was presented by Rod Garrett (President of Bowls Bedfordshire).
Peter was nominated by his club for his tireless devotion to Dunstable Town BC both as a Clubman and his work on maintaining the Bowling Green for many years.
I’m sure you will join the Unified Committee and congratulate Peter on receiving his Award of Merit.
