It is an honour and privilege to be elected as the President of Bowls Bedfordshire for the 2026 season.
I'd like to thank Maulden Bowls Club for their nomination and supporting my journey to this role..
Thank you to Gordon McCann for his year as President, he did a wonderful job.
I've been playing bowls since I was 12 and i was introduced to the game by my Dad, who was a really good bowler in his own right, I'm sure he would be proud of my achievements if he were still around.
I aim to carry out my presidential duties to the highest standard possible and promote the game to all I come in contact with.
My charity of the year is Prostate Cancer UK.
I know so many friends and fellow bowlers who have been affected by this disease and hope in a small way that I can raise funds for this very worthwhile charity.
I'd like to thank Maulden Bowls Club for allowing me to put my collection boxes in the club house over the last year and hope bowlers will continue to support the fundraising effort during my presidency.
I wish you all a happy 2026 season and please say hello if you see me at your club or at County Matches etc
President - Keith Jones (Maulden)
The future of Bowls Bedfordshire Ladies is looking good with a Junior Vice President for 2025 and 2026, this means we will have a President in 2027 and 2028.
Our lady’s charity for this year will be the Guide Dogs for the blind and I’m sure we will be seeing one of the dogs at some of our functions.
Wishing all of you a very enjoyable and successful season and looking forward to seeing you all on the green.
