Please note from the note below that the Maulden Prostrate Cancer day has been cancelled. The event at the end of the season at Houghton will still go ahead as planned.
A lot of you will know about Taff from Houghton Regis and the great support Houghton Regis and other clubs have given to Prostate Cancer and raising the awareness throughout the Bowling Community.
Maulden have agreed to hold another Prostate Cancer Charity Day in addition to the one held annually at Houghton Regis to help add to the £13,000 already raised by previous events.
Maulden would like to hear from players who would like to enter this fun bowling day and I’m sure as always players are ready to support such a worthwhile cause and have a bit of good hearted bowls competition while they are at it.
The format will be triples, playing games of 7 ends in a round robin format between other teams.
The cost of the day will be £5.00 per player and food and refreshments will be available to purchase at the club.
