Bowls Bedfordshire Tour to Eastbourne 2026

We are pleased to announce that the Bowls Bedfordshire County Tour for 2026 will be to Eastbourne on Monday the 31st of August 2026 to Friday the 4th of September 2026 with our President for 2026 Keith Jones (Maulden).
Accommodation is booked at The Cumberland Hotel, 34-36 Grand Parade, Eastbourne, BN21 3YT, Tel. 01323 730342 and we will be using Eastbourne Coaches which are a better option financially this time.
The format will be similar to previous years, setting off from Wilstead on Monday morning travel to Eastbourne buffet lunch and our game of Bowls at Hampden Park Bowls Club, Eastbourne at 2pm, with a travel time approx 15 minutes.
Again, dress will be less formal than previous tours with Navy and County Shirt for all games.
The clubs we are playing fit well within the Eastbourne area and have good travel times.
Tuesday a game against the County at Peacehaven Bowls Club at 1pm (approx 40 minutes).
Wednesday a game against Geldredge Park Bowls Club at 1pm (approx 10 minuets)
Thursday a game against Bexhill Bowls Club at 1pm. (Approx 30 minutes)
Friday a game on the way home at 1130am against Hatfield Bowls Club getting us home at a very reasonable time.
At this stage we estimate the cost will be £430.00p per head, which we see as excellent value for this tour.
We require a deposit of £150.00p at this stage.
