U25 Academy Day Sunday 7th June 2026

BOWLS BEDFORDSHIRE YOUTH ACADEMY

This season we will again be running our Youth Academy in Bedfordshire for the under 25’s. The Academy will take place on Sunday 7th June at Potton B.C. This is an opportunity for young players from all over Bedfordshire to meet with other youngsters, make friends as well as building a team for national competitions

The aim of the Academy is to challenge our younger players and enable them to improve their game. This is aimed at players of all abilities with a fun element included.

The day will start with booking in at 10.00 with the first session of bowling starting at 10.30 prompt. You will need to bring a packed lunch but some refreshments will be available during the day. All under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Itinerary for the day is as follows.

10:00 Arrival and book in

10:30 – 12:00 Skills exercises

12:00 – 12:30 Lunch

12:30 – 14:30 Drawn team matches (limited ends)

14:30 Summary. Q & A, wrap up.

The afternoon session will take the form of competitive matches over a limited number of ends. Players will keep their own score cards After each game the teams will be drawn again.

We will finish with a summary of the day and a Q & A session.

Dress code for the day is club colours.
